FAQs

Hopefully you’ll find the answer you’re looking for from our list of FAQs. If you’d like to ask us anything else in person, you can always catch us at any of the following careers fairs.

Can I apply for more than one role?
Please apply for your top preference only, and indicate at the interview stage whether you are also interested in other functions.

When is the application deadline?
Closing date is midnight Monday April 5th, 2010

Where could I be based?
Locations all depend on which function you are joining, but are the same for both graduate and internship positions in that function.
Customer Business Development – Sydney or Melbourne
Finance & Accounting – Sydney only
Consumer & Market Knowledge – Sydney or Singapore
Marketing – Singapore only
Human Resources – Sydney only

What minimum qualifications do I need to apply?
For graduate positions: The minimum qualification is a Bachelors Degree in any discipline and a credit average. Typically students apply during their final year of tertiary study and graduate either mid-semester or at the end of the academic year.

For Internship positions: You must be currently undertaking, at minimum, a Bachelors Degree in any discipline and have a credit average. Applications are only open to students in their penultimate year of tertiary study (the second last year of study for a degree).

What are the selection criteria you use to assess an application?
There are a number of key competencies we assess applications against. You can find them here.

If my role isn’t Singapore based, will I still have the opportunity to travel overseas?
For graduates, you may get the opportunity to travel internationally for regional training programs or meetings. This largely depends on what function and role you work in.

For Interns, overseas travel would only occur if the project you are working on requires this. However, this is only likely to occur in rare circumstances.

I am an international student. What are my options?
We’re accepting applications from international students into our Finance & Accounting graduate program only. To apply, you must be eligible to obtain the Subclass 485 visa (see http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/485/ for more information).

If you’re not planning on applying for the Finance & Accounting graduate positions, or you’re planning on returning home upon the completion of your degree, please visit www.pg.com and select your home country – you’ll then be able to review positions available.

I’m not 100% sure what area I want to specialise in as a graduate, do you offer rotations?
We hire graduates into a real role from day one, instead of running a rotational program. We can help you understand what function might be best for you through our employee stories in Working with Us…or in person at one of our careers events.
